Cookie Policy

Effective August 28, 2025 · WeSellAstoria

This Cookie Policy explains how WeSellAstoria (operated by Yianni Bachas, Amorelli Realty) uses cookies on wesellastoria.com. We keep this short and honest: we only use cookies that the site actually needs.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your browser when you visit. They let the site remember information about your visit — such as whether you are signed in — so you do not have to re-enter it on every page. Cookies cannot run programs, carry viruses, or access files on your device.

Cookies We Use

WeSellAstoria uses a small number of cookies, all listed below. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking cookies.

Cookie	Category	Duration	Purpose
next-auth.session-token	Essential	30 days	Keeps you signed in to your Buyer, Seller, or Tenant portal. Without this cookie the portal cannot identify you and you will be logged out on every page load.
next-auth.csrf-token	Essential	Session	Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks when you sign in or sign out. Required for the authentication system to work securely.
next-auth.callback-url	Essential	Session	Remembers which page you were trying to reach before being redirected to the login page, so you land in the right place after signing in.
wsa_cookie_consent	Functional	1 year	Stores your cookie preference (accepted or essential only) so the consent banner does not re-appear on every visit.

Essential cookies are required for the site to function. Disabling them will prevent portal login and break key features. Functional cookies improve your experience but the site works without them.

Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the website to work. They enable core functions like secure sign-in to your portal, CSRF protection, and post-login redirection. Under applicable privacy law these cookies do not require your consent because they cannot be switched off without breaking the service. If you choose “Essential Only” in our cookie banner, only these cookies are set.

Managing Your Cookies

You can withdraw or change your cookie preference at any time by clearing the “wsa_cookie_consent” entry from your browser's local storage (DevTools → Application → Local Storage → wesellastoria.com). The consent banner will re-appear on your next visit.

Most browsers also let you block or delete all cookies through their settings. Keep in mind that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in to your portal. Common browser cookie settings:

Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
